The Maisons du Clair de la Plume are located in Provence, at the foot of the Château de Grignan, one of the most “Beautiful Villages of France”, in 6 different parts of the historic village.
The historic hotel-restaurant Le Clair de la Plume: under the glass roof, the gourmet restaurant (1* Michelin) offers delicate cuisine co-curated by Glenn VIEL***, and 9 19th-century furnished rooms share the upper floors.
Nearby, the Maison Privée, whose monumental staircase leads to 6 suites and timeless rooms.
A stroll through the Mediterranean Garden is a must: plant collection, natural swimming pool and the secret ” Lovers’ Pavilion ” with 1 room.
A few steps away, the hotel **** and the Bistro La Ferme Chapouton house 13 contemporary rooms, a heated swimming pool and rooms for seminars, weddings, cousinades… from 10 to 200 people.
Finally, on the village square, the Café des Vignerons (wine & food bar) and the Caveau des Vignerons et Produits du Terroir complete our invitation to discover a preserved and magical Provence.

Grignan, France’s most beautiful village in Drôme Provençale
Grignan is a charming, typical Provencal village in the Drôme département, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of southeastern France.
It boasts a magnificent Renaissance château, and is mentioned in the letters Madame de Sévigné wrote to her daughter, Madame de Grignan, who lived there in the 17th century. The village and surrounding area are full of treasures to visit and enjoy in all seasons.

The whole stay was charming
The hotel and assortment of associated rooms are in the bottom of a charming village which was obviously a 'destination' as it was pretty crowded on 15 August. The welcome was warm and helpful, our beautiful room with excellent facilities was in a separate house just down the street. We were able to park our car close to the hotel and walked to La Ferme, their bistro restaurant for an excellent open air dinner. The service and menu obviously had an eye to Michelin ambitions so it was not cheap but very pleasant. The location was beautiful particularly on a fine summer evening.

The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. Perfectly located in the heart of Grignan, it’s an ideal place to stay when visiting the town.

Avec un groupe de 38 personnes, nous avons été ravis du lieu, de l'organisation et l'ensemble du personnel a été parfait.
