The Maisons du Clair de la Plume are located in Provence, at the foot of the Château de Grignan, one of the most “Beautiful Villages of France”, in 6 different parts of the historic village.
The historic hotel-restaurant Le Clair de la Plume: under the glass roof, the gourmet restaurant (1* Michelin) offers delicate cuisine co-curated by Glenn VIEL***, and 9 19th-century furnished rooms share the upper floors.
Nearby, the Maison Privée, whose monumental staircase leads to 6 suites and timeless rooms.
A stroll through the Mediterranean Garden is a must: plant collection, natural swimming pool and the secret ” Lovers’ Pavilion ” with 1 room.
A few steps away, the hotel **** and the Bistro La Ferme Chapouton house 13 contemporary rooms, a heated swimming pool and rooms for seminars, weddings, cousinades… from 10 to 200 people.

Grignan, France’s most beautiful village in Drôme Provençale
Grignan is a charming, typical Provencal village in the Drôme département, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of southeastern France.
It boasts a magnificent Renaissance château, and is mentioned in the letters Madame de Sévigné wrote to her daughter, Madame de Grignan, who lived there in the 17th century. The village and surrounding area are full of treasures to visit and enjoy in all seasons.

Very good place. We had a pleasant stay. The receptionist was very helpful
The hotel was beautiful. We arrived at 16:00, quickly checked in and took a stroll in the town. The night views of the hotel is fantastic. We had a comfortable stay. I had requested for charging for my EV, and it was possible to do it during the night. We were on route to Barcelona and this was a perfect spot for us to relax for the evening and enjoy the town / Grignan Chateau and views from the top. Would definitely recommend the hotel. Next time, we will plan for a few more days!!

La propriété est face au château de Grignan. Lieu magnifique. Mais ce qui a rendu notre séjour exceptionnel est le personnel de l’hôtel, si convivial et accueillant à tous niveaux. Un séjour mémorable !

Extraordinaire place! The room seemed small but was so nicely decorated and so peaceful. The staff was present around midnight to welcome us! Incr3dible breakfast.
Delightful stay with the best breakfast ever
Beautiful location set in a very quaint 'magical' village. Friendly staff. Beautiful building and court yard. Dog-friendly, including provisions - bowls, treats, beds etc. Treats for us too - cookies and nougat! Bathroom with a bath, slippers, robe, toiletries etc. Parking available very close to the hotel. Lovely bistro within a short walking distance. Lovely restaurant on site that we took breakfast in - which has to be the best breakfast ever. I would return just for the breakfast. Warm, cosy and smelled nice everywhere! :)
Absolutely recommendable
We liked very much the property with the gardens, the view on the Château from our room was exceptional. The breakfast is expensive but the products are high quality and most of them homemade. The staff is very friendly and customer oriented.

Les plats sont exquis, préparés avec des ingrédients frais et de qualité, chaque bouchée étant un véritable délice. Le service est impeccable, avec un personnel attentif et professionnel, qui sait apporter de bons conseils. Ce restaurant est un endroit à ne pas manquer lors de votre venue sur Grignan.

Un merveilleux dîner d'anniversaire avec des étoiles plein les yeux. Ici tout n'est que finesse et délicatesse. J'y ai tout aimé : le lieu, les mets délicieux, le service plus que parfait. Vivement mes 56 ans :-)

Très belle expérience chez La Ferme Chapouton à Grignan. Le cadre est magnifique, avec une ambiance élégante et apaisante qui permet de passer un vrai moment hors du temps. La terrasse et la vue sur le village rendent l’endroit encore plus agréable. Les plats sont excellents, raffinés et très bien présentés. On sent la qualité des produits ainsi que le soin apporté à chaque assiette. Les desserts sont également remarquables. Le service est professionnel et agréable, dans une atmosphère calme et chaleureuse, parfaite pour un repas en amoureux ou une occasion spéciale. Une très belle adresse que je recommande sans hésiter.
Just a few years ago, as lifelong vegetarians we couldn’t get a decent veggie meal out in France. It was a running joke that it would be a goats cheese salad every night of the holiday- if you were lucky! We visited La Clair De Plume’s gastronomic restaurant tonight and it was a breath of fresh air. A set menu of 4 courses of delicious, thoughtfully crafted vegetarian treats which we loved every minute of. We highly recommend this restaurant as a great fine dining option with a beautiful garden seating area to relax in before or after your meal. Friendly staff too :)
