Les Maisons du Clair de la Plume situées en Provence, au pied du château de Grignan, un des plus « Beaux Villages de France », se répartissent en 6 lieux du village historique.
L’historique hôtel restaurant Le Clair de la Plume : sous la verrière, le restaurant gastronomique (1* Michelin) propose une cuisine délicate co-signée Glenn VIEL*** et 9 chambres meublées XIXème se partagent les étages.
Toute proche, la Maison Privée, dont l’escalier monumental conduit aux 6 suites et chambres intemporelles.
Une flânerie s’impose au Jardin Méditerranéen : collection de plantes, baignade naturelle et le lieu secret « Pavillon des amoureux » comprenant 1 chambre.
A quelques pas, l’hôtel **** et le Bistro La Ferme Chapouton abrite 13 chambres contemporaines, une piscine chauffée et des salles pour séminaires, mariages, cousinades… de 10 à 200 personnes.
Enfin, sur la place du village, le Café des Vignerons (bar à vins & cuisine) et le Caveau des Vignerons et Produits du Terroir complètent notre invitation à découvrir une Provence préservée et magique.

Grignan est un charmant et typique village provençal situé dans le département de la Drôme, en Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, au sud-est de la France.
Il compte un magnifique château Renaissance, et est mentionné dans les lettres que Madame de Sévigné écrivit à sa fille qui y résidait, Madame de Grignan, au XVIIème siècle. Le village et les alentours regorgent de trésors à visiter et à déguster en toutes saisons.

The hotel was beautiful. We arrived at 16:00, quickly checked in and took a stroll in the town. The night views of the hotel is fantastic. We had a comfortable stay. I had requested for charging for my EV, and it was possible to do it during the night. We were on route to Barcelona and this was a perfect spot for us to relax for the evening and enjoy the town / Grignan Chateau and views from the top. Would definitely recommend the hotel. Next time, we will plan for a few more days!!

Un établissement de très grande qualité : la restauration des bâtiments anciens est plus que réussie, les salles de restauration et d'accueil sont élégantes et bien conçues, les chambres sont confortables et décorées avec talent. Le personnel est souriant et efficace, de l'arrivée au départ, à l'hôtel comme en salle. Le petit-déjeuner est généreux, avec des produits de grande qualité (confitures, biscuits, etc.). Les plats maison (tarte aux mûres, œufs brouillés, cake, etc.) sont particulièrement réussis. Le service est attentif. Bravo.

The hotel and assortment of associated rooms are in the bottom of a charming village which was obviously a 'destination' as it was pretty crowded on 15 August. The welcome was warm and helpful, our beautiful room with excellent facilities was in a separate house just down the street. We were able to park our car close to the hotel and walked to La Ferme, their bistro restaurant for an excellent open air dinner. The service and menu obviously had an eye to Michelin ambitions so it was not cheap but very pleasant. The location was beautiful particularly on a fine summer evening.

Sumptuous Luxury in a Stunning Historical Setting: Impeccable Service & Quintessential Ambience
The architecture and interior design of this series of buildings comprised by Le Clair de la Plume was exemplary: I had already visited it in Grignan as a tourist (they have a gift shop with their own products) and knew how stunning it is. Service was impeccable, the breakfast was sumptuous including some lovely champagne. There were wonderful touches such as locally produced bespoke foods & toiletries. The south facing views over the village and chatea were equally stunning both during the night & day. Centrally located, unfortunately it wasn't warm enough to try the outdoor pools. One call to reception for a local affiliated restaurant booking.

Absolutely recommendable
We liked very much the property with the gardens, the view on the Château from our room was exceptional. The breakfast is expensive but the products are high quality and most of them homemade. The staff is very friendly and customer oriented.

Plats excellents, merci au chef Service parfait Un grand merci à Sandrine pour ses propositions de vins et sa faculté d adaptation à nos goûts (Givry au top 😀) Restaurant 1 étoile qui en mérite une deuxième Nuit à la ferme un peu plus bas. Petit déjeuner dans une petite pièce atypique avec beaucoup de charme. Sejour parfait, ça donne des idées de cadeaux
Nôtres avis pour le restaurant bistronomique. Une terrasse exceptionnelle, avec une superbe vue sur le château.... ça commençait bien, avec un temps parfait. Le verre de vin rouge en vieille vigne était très bon, mais c'est surtout le plat de ma femme, et ma côte de veau... Grande, épaisse, juteuse, accompagnée des petites patates mitrailles... Une cuisson parfaite, pour une addition de de 56€ par pers sans se priver. Nous recommandons vivement !

(Restaurant only): fantastic dinner experience. The Chef and his team wow'd us all night long. It all starts out in the cute little garden outside for a very warm welcome. After an aperitive one is guided inside into the main restaurant. The setting is stellar! The food convinced us beyond just one michelin star. There was plenty of finesse and surprises throughout the evening. The service team spoke good English and explained the dishes quite well. We'd come back any time. 6 course dinner for two people and one wine pairing got us to 500€. The chef is certainly ambitious and it shows successfully.

Le Café des Vignerons, lieu incontournable à Grignan. Une carte des vins uniquement de l'appellation Grignan-Les-Adhemar. Un endroit vraiment très agréable, accueillant, chaleureux, sympathique avec une très bonne ambiance et des vins vraiment très intéressants. Au plaisir de revenir....

Un lieu de paradis où l’accueil est parfait ,le cadre est superbe , tout est réfléchi sans aucune ostentation,le jardin ,propice au rêve et à la sérénité …. Le déjeuner concocté par le chef et servi dans la jolie véranda est à la fois succulent et original ! accompagné par des vins délicieux . Le petit déjeuner du Dimanche matin s’est déroulé dans le même esprit et n’a fait que confirmer notre impression de la veille En deux mots: la classe!! Nous recherchions un hôtel cosy dans lequel on se sente bien, et bien nous étions au bon endroit ! Le lieu est beau, agréable et l’accueil et le service sont parfait. Personnel au petit soin ! Merci à toute l équipe !
Magnifique domaine, tres bien situé a quelques pas du centre touristique, accueil chaleureux, chambre spacieuse et calme, bonne literie, salle d'eau bien équipée et propre, vue sur le château, restauration sur place(Le Bistrot), petit déjeuner copieux avec possibilité de le prendre dans le jardin (par beau temps, et on a eu cette chance!!!), Grande piscine chauffée(là aussi on a eu la chance d'en profiter). Pour conclure, on a passer un excellent séjour, adresse enregistrée, car on reviendra avec grand plaisir.
Tout y est! Excellence dès le premier contact, avec bienveillance et sans la moindre arrogance pour un établissement de ce standing. On ressent une vraie âme, et on s'y sent bien- sans oublier la nourriture évidemment exceptionnelle, pas une surprise compte-tenu de l'étoile Michelin... Au coeur d'un villge charmant, rempli d'histoire, pas encore submergé par le tourisme...

This hotel in the charming village of Grignan is actually my favourite hotel in the world. I've been coming here for years, and each time the experience gets better and better. The original hotel with it's elegant rooms and beautiful gardens make you feel transported to another world, and the new addition and renovation of the old farmhouse Chapouton which is only a few minutes walk is another creation extraordinaire! The two restaurants - the Bistro (SO great!) and the Michelin star restaurant (Which is beyond AMAZING and should definitely be on your bucket list!!) is only surpassed by the hotel staff. They are so kind and professional and always there to make sure your experience is one to remember. So many hotels strive for excellence, but this one truly delivers, and I look forward to next year's visit!! A very happy customer, Barbara (United Kingdom)
Nous avons eu le plaisir de découvrir le menu en huit services, brillamment construit autour de la truffe… mais pas seulement. Chaque plat a été une surprise maîtrisée : une raviole de homard d’une finesse remarquable, un agneau parfaitement travaillé, et une progression des saveurs d’une grande justesse. Pour finir 2 desserts donc l’un « la truffe » Un dessert absolument incroyable, aussi audacieux que parfaitement exécuté. Le clair de la Plume est un véritable restaurant gastronomique, sans aucune faute, où les goûts sont à la hauteur de l’exigence et de la réputation du lieu. Une adresse que l’on quitte avec l’envie d’y revenir, et surtout de la recommander sans hésitation.
Repas parfait !!! Très bonne adresse sur Grignan le personnel est aux petits soins. Très bel endroit avec vue incroyable sur le château.
Nous avons déjeuné dans ce charmant établissement et avons apprécié l'amabilité du personnel. La salade César était bonne mais sans plus, le sorbet à la figue était excellent. Petit plus, l'établissement accepte les chèques vacances.
