Les Maisons du Clair de la Plume situées en Provence, au pied du château de Grignan, un des plus « Beaux Villages de France », se répartissent en 6 lieux du village historique.
L’historique hôtel restaurant Le Clair de la Plume : sous la verrière, le restaurant gastronomique (1* Michelin) propose une cuisine délicate co-signée Glenn VIEL*** et 9 chambres meublées XIXème se partagent les étages.
Toute proche, la Maison Privée, dont l’escalier monumental conduit aux 6 suites et chambres intemporelles.
Une flânerie s’impose au Jardin Méditerranéen : collection de plantes, baignade naturelle et le lieu secret « Pavillon des amoureux » comprenant 1 chambre.
A quelques pas, l’hôtel **** et le Bistro La Ferme Chapouton abrite 13 chambres contemporaines, une piscine chauffée et des salles pour séminaires, mariages, cousinades… de 10 à 200 personnes.
Enfin, sur la place du village, le Café des Vignerons (bar à vins & cuisine) et le Caveau des Vignerons et Produits du Terroir complètent notre invitation à découvrir une Provence préservée et magique.

Grignan, plus beau village de France en Drôme Provençale
Grignan est un charmant et typique village provençal situé dans le département de la Drôme, en Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, au sud-est de la France.
Il compte un magnifique château Renaissance, et est mentionné dans les lettres que Madame de Sévigné écrivit à sa fille qui y résidait, Madame de Grignan, au XVIIème siècle. Le village et les alentours regorgent de trésors à visiter et à déguster en toutes saisons.

The whole stay was charming
The hotel and assortment of associated rooms are in the bottom of a charming village which was obviously a 'destination' as it was pretty crowded on 15 August. The welcome was warm and helpful, our beautiful room with excellent facilities was in a separate house just down the street. We were able to park our car close to the hotel and walked to La Ferme, their bistro restaurant for an excellent open air dinner. The service and menu obviously had an eye to Michelin ambitions so it was not cheap but very pleasant. The location was beautiful particularly on a fine summer evening.
The whole stay was charming

Service was impeccable, the breakfast was sumptuous including some lovely champagne. There were wonderful touches such as locally produced bespoke foods & toiletries. The south facing views over the village and chatea were equally stunning both during the night & day. Centrally located, unfortunately it wasn't warm enough to try the outdoor pools. One call to reception for a local affiliated restaurant booking.

We liked very much the property with the gardens, the view on the Château from our room was exceptional. The breakfast is expensive but the products are high quality and most of them homemade. The staff is very friendly and customer oriented.

The hotel is completing charming, with a lovely pool. The attached restaurant is outstanding. Wonderful buffet breakfast in the garden each morning. Comfortable beds and good A/C. My room was a little small but perfectly comfortable and I was not in the room except to sleep. Definitely recommend and will stay here again myself.

Quintessential Provence perfect stay
The most beautiful setting. Stunning garden. Very clean comfortable room with lovely toiletries. The dinner was absolutely delicious. The pools were so peaceful and idyllic.

Expérience ... inoubliable ! Établissement qui valorise la cuisine et de l'hospitalité à la française ! L'exposition médiatique ne cache pas d'imposture... Le talent est bien là . Personnel jeune, dynamique, à l'écoute et extrêmement compétent. Le restaurant étoilé offre un menu surprise moderne mais respectueux des produits ... dessert chocolat fumé : bouriffant ! Un petit déjeuner exceptionnel dans une cuisine façon "à l'ancienne" servi avec sourire et bienveillance dans une verrière à la Eiffel.
Un très bon moment , avec dégustation de très bons vins de la région , suivi de planche à partager de qualité et généreuse , puis dessert tres bon également . Le cadre est très agréable .
Nous avons mangé récemment au bistrot et nous nous sommes régalés. Ambiance est superbe , accueil excellent et la cuisine est fine et délicieuse.Le cadre est exceptionnel avec le château de Grignan juste en face malgre la saison. Le seul bémol peut-être ce sont les prix .....

We had an absolutely beautiful time here. The location is idyllic, and we loved how the hotel complex was split across multiple buildings in town, all within a short few minutes walk of each other. The rooms were very well kept and comfortable, the food was so good we kept coming back for more, and the staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and accommodating to all our needs. We came with a dog and they provided us with a dog bed and bowl (and a little treat, too!) which we'd not encountered before. We enjoyed our first night so much we extended our stay - it made our next day a much longer journey but was totally worth it. We were sad to leave! Thank you team CDLP. Leo, Ysabel and Gigi

Nous nous sommes régalés. Mais en plus le personnel est adorable. Nous sommes allés avec 2 enfants de 1 an et 6 ans et un bébé. Des jeux sont mis à disposition ce qui nous a permis de passer un moment super agréable. Nous recommandons fortement

2 pâtisseries achetées dans cette boutique, en tombant par hasard sur cette adresse. Excellentes pâtisseries +++, parmi les meilleures pâtisseries que j'ai pu manger. La localisation est également très sympa. Je recommande +++ cette adresse, n'hésitez pas.

Super endroit pour un bon moment
Les restaurant "Bistrot" est une excellente adresse, que nous honorons à chacune de nos visite à Grignan. En complément d'une nuit au Clair de Plume, c'est le week-end en amoureux parfait. A ne surtout pas manquer !

Nous avons mangé au Bistrot de la Ferme Chapouton: excellent !! Le menu avec entrée (œuf bio), plat (canette et ma femme cabillaud) et dessert (desserts maison excellents: mousse au chocolat et crème aux oeufs). Notre fils de 11 ans à pris le menu enfant, qui est une assiette cuisinée (épaule de porc, purée de pommes de terre et légumes): il a beaucoup aimé et tout mangé! Une bonne adresse.
Nôtres avis pour le restaurant bistronomique. Une terrasse exceptionnelle, avec une superbe vue sur le château.... ça commençait bien, avec un temps parfait. Le verre de vin rouge en vieille vigne était très bon, mais c'est surtout le plat de ma femme, et ma côte de veau... Grande, épaisse, juteuse, accompagnée des petites patates mitrailles... Une cuisson parfaite, pour une addition de de 56€ par pers sans se priver. Nous recommandons vivement !
J’ai rarement vu un hôtel avec un charme aussi époustouflant que Le clair de la plume. L’accueil a été formidable et la chambre avait un charisme et une histoire qui se ressentait rien qu’à l’ouverture de la porte. L’emplacement est parfait avec le petit marché où je ne suis pas sûre que ce soit tous les jours, mais qui en vaut le détour. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux, situé dans une véranda plein soleil le matin et un choix très varié avec des produits de très bonne qualité. Le cadre est vraiment exceptionnel! Je n’y manquerai pas de revenir si je repasse par là. Bravo l’équipe et merci pour cette découverte.
Un moment merveilleux dans ce restaurant haut en couleur, une table dans la verrière avec un menu en 8 temps pour découvrir les créations des chefs. Des canapés aux desserts, ce fût une explosion de saveur en bouche ! Ni trop long ni trop rapide, un rythme de service parfait. Le service était à la hauteur, chaque personne a pris soin de nous, de discuter, d’échanger et l’explication des plats était bien claire. Toutes les femmes, nous ayant servi, avaient le sourire et c’était bien agréable et nous souhaitons dire encore un grand merci à Lucie qui nous a fait passer un moment inoubliable. Le chef a changé. La qualité reste, mais les prix sont devenus délirants. C'est encore pire pour les vins, avec un Saint Joseph blanc de Pierre Gonon à 360 euros ! La carte des vins est d'ailleurs présentée en dépit du bon sens, en associant par exemple les Bordeaux et les Alsaces dans une même rubrique. Ceci-dit, la cuisine est vraiment bonne, avec certaines assiettes dignes d'un 2 étoilé. Cela commence par des amuse-bouche géniaux: croque monsieur, thon en trois textures et déclinaison d'artichauts. Carabinero préparé façon paella. Saint Marcellin glacé avec une tapenade (nous n'y croyions pas à la lecture, mais c''est délicieux).

Un service magnifique et une ambiance chaleureuse! Nous sommes venus à 17 personnes et tout était parfait. Une équipe conviviale, une cuisine à petit prix pour de la qualité, et des sourires qui en ferait tomber plus d’un Ps: Quentin, ton équipe de liégeois préféré sont bien rentrés à bon port Merci pour ce moment, ça restera pour beaucoup du groupe l’un de nos plus beaux souvenirs dans un restaurant
Nus n’avions pas encore testé le bistrot, belle découverte et cadre très sympa. Une carte pour tout les goûts, mention spéciale aux desserts qui sont très très bons! Une belle soirée dans votre établissement.
Hotel avec peu de chambres donc très intime. Parfait pour un weekend de repos dans ce magnifique village de Grignan. Accès au 2 piscines très proches très agréable. Petit déjeuner fantastique.
