The historic hotel-restaurant Le Clair de la Plume: under the glass roof, the gourmet restaurant (1* Michelin) offers delicate cuisine co-curated by Glenn VIEL***, and 9 19th-century furnished rooms share the upper floors.

Un établissement de très grande qualité : la restauration des bâtiments anciens est plus que réussie, les salles de restauration et d'accueil sont élégantes et bien conçues, les chambres sont confortables et décorées avec talent. Le personnel est souriant et efficace, de l'arrivée au départ, à l'hôtel comme en salle. Le petit-déjeuner est généreux, avec des produits de grande qualité (confitures, biscuits, etc.). Les plats maison (tarte aux mûres, œufs brouillés, cake, etc.) sont particulièrement réussis. Le service est attentif. Bravo.

Le service était digne des plus grands hôtels, un personnel jeune et motivé. Merci à eux pour leur gentillesse et leur professionnalisme. Le restaurant gastronomique de l’hôtel est incontournable. La chambre était grande et très confortable, le personnel prépare même la chambre pour la nuit, ce qui correspond à de très hauts standards hôteliers.

Excellent... We arrived in the middle of a rush (without a reservation) with 5 of us with 2 dogs, and were greeted with kindness and a smile. The staff moved tables to accommodate us. As for the food: a limited quality menu, ultra-fresh salad... Smiling service 100% focused on customer satisfaction despite the crowds and a very digestible bill (around €30/person with non-alcoholic drinks, starter-main course-dessert). In short, a great experience!! I recommend

Discovery of the restaurant on a Saturday evening in February. Dinner in the simply sumptuous glass roof. We took the 6-course menu… the good compromise and the 4-course food and wine pairing. Everything was perfect from start to finish. It is true that we were invited, so even more pleasant, but the prices are not cheap. I just want to highlight the great kindness and professionalism of the entire team which made the moment very pleasant. The chef came to see us at the end of the meal, a simple and extremely pleasant man. Thank you for this parenthesis

We got married at Ferme Chapouton at the beginning of April and everything was magical. Immense pleasure of having lunch in the large, bright room, open glass roofs, with an incredible view of the castle, after having an aperitif on the lawn under the Drôme sun. Our guests loved everything on the menu. Wonderful day, lovely service, kindness and thoughtfulness. We (the bride and groom only) stayed to sleep and loved our beautiful, romantic room and the excellent breakfast. Thank you for this fairytale weekend!

Mother's Day meal, my husband's wedding anniversary... the perfect setting for this romantic get-together at the Michelin-starred restaurant Clair de la Plume. Since that dark year when the earth stood still, nothing seemed to have any flavor! My neighbor's honey on sourdough bread, the strawberries from my garden... everything was bland except perhaps the Comté cheese from Bélieu, our home village! At Clair de la Plume, I finally rediscovered my sense of taste... Whether it was the asparagus, the trout crust, the rhubarb 3 ways... the mini strawberry tart!!!! What marvels! Thank you to the chef (whom we would have liked to congratulate personally). A special thanks to the all-female staff who took such great care, with humor and lightheartedness.

Having stayed at the Le clair de la plume hotel, I was very happy to discover their shop with a wide choice of products typical of the region. The saleswoman is incredibly kind, well-traveled and in love with her region, don't hesitate to ask her questions for a better experience of Grignan and its surroundings. I wanted to thank the seller enormously for her professionalism and motivation in her store. Hat !

I had the pleasure of having lunch at the Chapouton farm this June and it was amazing. The glass roof opened to the outside, a magnificent view of the castle, a delicious meal. Despite the heat outside, we were very comfortable thanks to natural air circulation. Special mention for Jo our server! Jo was the best: smiling, available, pleasant, attentive! Bravo for this quality of service, it makes the moment even better!

Great place for a good time
Magnificent estate, very well located a few steps from the tourist center, warm welcome, spacious and quiet room, good bedding, well-equipped and clean bathroom, view of the castle, on-site catering (Le Bistrot), generous breakfast with the possibility of having it in the garden (in good weather, and we were lucky enough!!!), Large heated swimming pool (we were also lucky enough to enjoy it). To conclude, we had an excellent stay, registered address, because we will return with great pleasure.
A very beautiful place. Beautiful, well-decorated rooms. Excellent breakfast with superb cuisine. Nothing is missing, and the staff is attentive. The bistro is friendly, and I recommend the pan-fried foie gras and the poached egg. This is a very fond memory, and the setting and breakfast will remain etched in my memory.

We recently ate at the bistro and had a great time. The atmosphere is superb, the welcome excellent and the cuisine is fine and delicious. The setting is exceptional with the Château de Grignan just opposite despite the season. The only downside perhaps is the prices.....
A succulent and hearty dinner in a pretty setting. The room is not noisy, the table arrangement leaves space between people, the dishes are served quickly and are good. Small attention to the young waiter who took care of us wonderfully. I recommend.
A heavenly place where the welcome is perfect, the setting is superb, everything is thoughtfully designed without any ostentation, the garden, conducive to dreams and serenity... The lunch prepared by the chef and served on the pretty veranda is both succulent and original! Accompanied by delicious wines. Sunday morning breakfast took place in the same spirit and only confirmed our impression of the day before. In two words: classy!! Very nice establishment, warm welcome, very professional and friendly service, when it comes to the kitchen, a real pleasure, the presentations are careful, the cooking is perfect, the small spelled risotto and truffles (generous) a treat, when the fish is fresh and cooked at the top. To finish, speculum pear dessert, Chapouton cabbage with grated truffles, a marvel, you had to dare, the experience is a taste success. Bravo to this excellent house. Very warm room, comfortable bedding, bathrobe available and coffee. We feel like home, thanks to Fred, if we can afford this familiarity.

Very nice establishment with friendly staff. The manager who checked us out was charming, but I think it was the slightly older head waiter who was very rude and spoke very rudely to the waiters... Customers and colleagues are not dogs.

The breakfast was absolutely top with all the fine, wonderful regional dishes Products simply brilliant. We had dinner in the restaurant. It was a very nice atmosphere, the food was beautifully prepared and presented. Wonderful Bordeaux wine was also decanted into our carafe. A lovely Provençal getaway just a stone's throw from the Château de Grignan. A beautiful setting, peaceful, flowery, and with excellent staff. A very good and friendly meal at the hotel bistro. I will definitely be back.
