While the meal itself was very good, the welcome and service were deplorable! We had reserved a table for Sunday lunch on our wedding anniversary (mentioned several times during the reservation), but the welcome was simply awful!!! After being moved to a different table just minutes after we were seated (why??? a mystery...), the aperitif options were announced very curtly, as if we were "stupid." Indeed, I quote the waitress's response after I asked her about the cocktail's ingredients: "I'm telling you right now, Madam!!!"... Okay, sorry for asking 😡. At the same time, please be clearer, because it was incomprehensible, thank you! Right after the starter, one of the waiters asked my husband in a haughty tone if he would like a glass of red wine to accompany his meal, which he accepted. However, he only came back to bring it...at DESSERT TIME, so it was completely pointless! We saw him wandering around the neighboring tables for several minutes, waiting for him to bring it back. It made you wonder if he'd simply forgotten about us. Then he came back and said, "I was late bringing it to you." Oh, right... Given his attitude, we told him he could take it back, which he didn't appreciate. Oh well! (Normally, we would have accepted it without any problem). Finally, when the bill arrived, we almost paid twice for the meal we'd already paid for in advance (because it was included with our hotel stay at "Clair de la Plume"), and no apology was offered. We got a real dressing-down from the manager, as if we were the ones at fault! I don't understand this haughty behavior from the staff, which we experienced from beginning to end. Perhaps it was because we were the only ones in the restaurant dressed appropriately for this type of establishment? And yes, no shorts, jeans, flip-flops, or sneakers for us, sorry... At the same time, you're a fine-dining restaurant, and it was (I repeat) our wedding anniversary. Furthermore, this wasn't even acknowledged by the establishment (not even a simple "congratulations" or "happy anniversary"). At the same time, I'm not surprised anymore...Lol! We had already been here three years ago, and it was very good, but this time, we are very, very disappointed, and we won't be coming back!

A magical moment at Clair de la Plume. An absolutely perfect six-course dinner, full of finesse and precision. The service is top-notch: professional, attentive, but without fuss. The food and wine pairings were perfect. And as a bonus, the chef stopped by at the end of the meal to exchange a few words—a simple gesture that really made a difference. A truly blissful interlude for two. We'll definitely be back. The hotel is also very nice, with a pleasant pool and a great bistro!

We had an absolutely beautiful time here. The location is idyllic, and we loved how the hotel complex was split across multiple buildings in town, all within a short few minutes walk of each other. The rooms were very well kept and comfortable, the food was so good we kept coming back for more, and the staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and accommodating to all our needs. We came with a dog and they provided us with a dog bed and bowl (and a little treat, too!) which we'd not encountered before. There were six of us, and we ordered ice cream for a snack. I personally had the lavender ice cream; it was to die for, and according to my friends' comments about the flavor, the same goes for it. We definitely recommend this place for its ice cream. Fast service, very friendly, and with a smile😊

I've rarely seen a hotel with such breathtaking charm as Le Clair de la Plume. The welcome was wonderful, and the room had a charisma and history that was evident just from the moment I opened the door. The location is perfect, with a small market where I'm not sure it's open every day, but it's worth the detour. Breakfast was delicious, set on a veranda that receives plenty of sunlight in the morning, and there was a very varied selection of high-quality products. The setting is truly exceptional! I'll definitely come back if I'm ever in the area again. Congratulations to the team, and thank you for this discovery.
