A wonderful birthday evening with my daughter in this fabulous restaurant. A perfect dinner overlooking the castle. The service was truly outstanding thanks to the wonderful staff. As for the food, we thoroughly enjoyed everything from the cocktails to the dessert. Thank you to the entire team.

The town of Grignan and the hotel are located in the beautiful Drôme region. The rooms are small but nice. The food is a 7/10. Unfortunately, the service is only moderately friendly. The hotel has developed wonderfully.

At the restaurant, the new team is doing wonders: the dishes are perfectly cooked, the flavors varied and just right. For me, special mentions go to the Thai squash and the paella (very, very revisited), which alone are worth the trip. The desserts are beautiful, original, and extremely successful. A romantic and charming hotel! What a change of scenery right in the heart of a lovely little village! The outdoor pool boasts an incredible view! The gourmet dinner was delicious, with original dishes. Although the room decor wasn't to my taste (a bit dated), I had a wonderful night. I highly recommend this hotel for a gourmet and romantic getaway—a truly unique experience!

A magnificent property, ideally located just steps from the tourist center, with a warm welcome, a spacious and quiet room, comfortable bed, a well-equipped and clean bathroom, a view of the castle, on-site dining (Le Bistrot), and a generous breakfast which can be enjoyed in the garden (weather permitting, and we were lucky enough to have it!). There's also a large heated swimming pool (which we were also fortunate enough to use). In short, we had an excellent stay and have definitely added it to our list, as we will be returning with great pleasure.

The saleswoman is incredibly kind, well-traveled, and passionate about her region. Don't hesitate to ask her any questions to better experience Grignan and its surroundings. Hello, the hotel is perfectly located in the Drôme Provençale, 300m from the charming village of Grignan. The staff are extremely friendly, a special mention goes to the person at breakfast, which is plentiful with quality products. The bedding is extremely comfortable and the hotel is very quiet. The afternoon tea service is a unique experience offered by this establishment and even rarer in this region. The service is impeccable and the staff attentive. The atmosphere is warm and elegant, in addition to delicious pastries accompanied by exquisite tea. I highly recommend Ferme Chapouton, both for its location and its services; I am delighted.

Friendly, welcoming and quick service, simple but effective dishes, I removed a star for the poorly maintained toilets.

The chef has changed. The quality remains, but the prices have become insane. It's even worse for the wines, with a white Saint Joseph from Pierre Gonon at 360 euros! The wine list is also presented against common sense, for example by combining Bordeaux and Alsace in the same section. That said, the food is really good, with some dishes worthy of a 2-star restaurant. It starts with brilliant appetizers: croque monsieur, tuna in three textures, and artichoke variations. Carabinero prepared paella-style. Glazed Saint Marcellin with tapenade (we didn't believe it when we read it, but it's delicious).

We got married at Ferme Chapouton at the beginning of April and everything was magical. It was a great pleasure to have lunch in the large, bright room, with open glass roofs, with an incredible view of the castle, after having an aperitif on the lawn under the Drôme sun. Our guests loved the entire menu. It was a magnificent day, with lovely service, kindness and thoughtfulness. We (the bride and groom only) stayed over and loved our beautiful romantic room and the excellent breakfast. Thank you for this fairytale weekend!

A dream location at the foot of the castle. The rooms are tastefully decorated, a blend of antique and chic. Our dinner at Clair de la Plume…magical! A surprise dinner (we didn't know the menu details beforehand), every flavor was perfectly balanced. Océane gave us excellent wine recommendations and provided contact information for the winemakers. Her professionalism made all the difference. All the staff are truly deserving of their positions. Treat yourself to an experience that is sometimes surprising but utterly perfect.

How good a meal is usually enjoyed at the Chapouton Farm. Just a side note: it's surprising that they allow dogs into this restaurant.

We ate at the Bistrot de la Ferme Chapouton: excellent!! The menu included a starter (organic egg), main course (duckling and my wife cod) and dessert (excellent homemade desserts: chocolate mousse and egg custard). Our 11-year-old son had the children's menu, which is a cooked dish (pork shoulder, mashed potatoes and vegetables): he loved it and ate everything! A good address.

We enjoyed two excellent chocolate pastries! The welcome was very friendly and warm. Excellent value for money. A nice selection of local products was also available. Don't change a thing!

While the meal itself was very good, the welcome and service were deplorable! We had reserved a table for Sunday lunch on our wedding anniversary (mentioned several times during the reservation), but the welcome was simply awful!!! After being moved to a different table just minutes after we were seated (why??? a mystery...), the aperitif options were announced very curtly, as if we were "stupid." Indeed, I quote the waitress's response after I asked her about the cocktail's ingredients: "I'm telling you right now, Madam!!!"... Okay, sorry for asking 😡. At the same time, please be clearer, because it was incomprehensible, thank you! Right after the starter, one of the waiters asked my husband in a haughty tone if he would like a glass of red wine to accompany his meal, which he accepted. However, he only came back to bring it...at DESSERT TIME, so it was completely pointless! We saw him wandering around the neighboring tables for several minutes, waiting for him to bring it back. It made you wonder if he'd simply forgotten about us. Then he came back and said, "I was late bringing it to you." Oh, right... Given his attitude, we told him he could take it back, which he didn't appreciate. Oh well! (Normally, we would have accepted it without any problem). Finally, when the bill arrived, we almost paid twice for the meal we'd already paid for in advance (because it was included with our hotel stay at "Clair de la Plume"), and no apology was offered. We got a real dressing-down from the manager, as if we were the ones at fault! I don't understand this haughty behavior from the staff, which we experienced from beginning to end. Perhaps it was because we were the only ones in the restaurant dressed appropriately for this type of establishment? And yes, no shorts, jeans, flip-flops, or sneakers for us, sorry... At the same time, you're a fine-dining restaurant, and it was (I repeat) our wedding anniversary. Furthermore, this wasn't even acknowledged by the establishment (not even a simple "congratulations" or "happy anniversary"). At the same time, I'm not surprised anymore...Lol! We had already been here three years ago, and it was very good, but this time, we are very, very disappointed, and we won't be coming back!

A wonderful experience in this colorful restaurant, a table in the glass roof with an 8-course menu to discover the chefs' creations. From canapés to desserts, it was an explosion of flavors in your mouth! Neither too long nor too fast, the pace of service was perfect. The service was excellent; each person took great care of us, engaging in conversation and exchange, and the explanations of the dishes were very clear. A succulent and hearty dinner in a beautiful setting. The dining room isn't noisy, the table layout allows for space between guests, and the dishes are served quickly and are delicious. A special touch from the young waiter who took wonderful care of us. I highly recommend it.
