Les Maisons du Clair de la Plume situées en Provence, au pied du château de Grignan, un des plus « Beaux Villages de France », se répartissent en 6 lieux du village historique.
L’historique hôtel restaurant Le Clair de la Plume : sous la verrière, le restaurant gastronomique (1* Michelin) propose une cuisine délicate co-signée Glenn VIEL*** et 9 chambres meublées XIXème se partagent les étages.
Toute proche, la Maison Privée, dont l’escalier monumental conduit aux 6 suites et chambres intemporelles.
Une flânerie s’impose au Jardin Méditerranéen : collection de plantes, baignade naturelle et le lieu secret « Pavillon des amoureux » comprenant 1 chambre.
A quelques pas, l’hôtel **** et le Bistro La Ferme Chapouton abrite 13 chambres contemporaines, une piscine chauffée et des salles pour séminaires, mariages, cousinades… de 10 à 200 personnes.
Enfin, sur la place du village, le Café des Vignerons (bar à vins & cuisine) et le Caveau des Vignerons et Produits du Terroir complètent notre invitation à découvrir une Provence préservée et magique.

Grignan, plus beau village de France en Drôme Provençale
Grignan est un charmant et typique village provençal situé dans le département de la Drôme, en Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, au sud-est de la France.
Il compte un magnifique château Renaissance, et est mentionné dans les lettres que Madame de Sévigné écrivit à sa fille qui y résidait, Madame de Grignan, au XVIIème siècle. Le village et les alentours regorgent de trésors à visiter et à déguster en toutes saisons.

Very good place. We had a pleasant stay. The receptionist was very helpful
The hotel was beautiful. We arrived at 16:00, quickly checked in and took a stroll in the town. The night views of the hotel is fantastic. We had a comfortable stay. I had requested for charging for my EV, and it was possible to do it during the night. We were on route to Barcelona and this was a perfect spot for us to relax for the evening and enjoy the town / Grignan Chateau and views from the top. Would definitely recommend the hotel. Next time, we will plan for a few more days!!

The hotel is completing charming, with a lovely pool. The attached restaurant is outstanding. Wonderful buffet breakfast in the garden each morning. Comfortable beds and good A/C. My room was a little small but perfectly comfortable and I was not in the room except to sleep. Definitely recommend and will stay here again myself.

The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. Perfectly located in the heart of Grignan, it’s an ideal place to stay when visiting the town.

The architecture and interior design of this series of buildings comprised by Le Clair de la Plume was exemplary: I had already visited it in Grignan as a tourist (they have a gift shop with their own products) and knew how stunning it is. Service was impeccable, the breakfast was sumptuous including some lovely champagne. There were wonderful touches such as locally produced bespoke foods & toiletries. The south facing views over the village and chatea were equally stunning both during the night & day. Centrally located, unfortunately it wasn't warm enough to try the outdoor pools. One call to reception for a local affiliated restaurant booking.

C'est le 2ème séjour à la Ferme Chapouton. L'accueil y est chaleureux et l'endroit a quelque chose de particulier. On s'y sent bien. Je recommande +++ On a pu testé le restaurant gastronomique la clair de plume et c'était une magnifique expérience !

What a lovely place! An old farm , very cozy and wonderful restaurant . Was stopping en route to Spain but worth staying to visit with part of Provence. And very affordable, with a free upgrade!

The welcome was warm and helpful, our beautiful room with excellent facilities was in a separate house just down the street. We were able to park our car close to the hotel and walked to La Ferme, their bistro restaurant for an excellent open air dinner. The service and menu obviously had an eye to Michelin ambitions so it was not cheap but very pleasant. The location was beautiful particularly on a fine summer evening.

Le service était digne des plus grands hôtels, un personnel jeune et motivé. Merci à eux pour leur gentillesse et leur professionnalisme. Le restaurant gastronomique de l’hôtel est incontournable. La chambre était grande et très confortable, le personnel prépare même la chambre pour la nuit, ce qui correspond à de très hauts standards hôteliers.

Nous avons déjeuné en famille dans le restaurant. Quel plaisir....personnel serviable et accueillant, cadre idyllique, ambiance chaleureuse, et que dire de la qualité des produits, un délice de saveurs, produits locaux parfaitement cuisiné. Nous étions six et nous avons commandé des glaces pour le goûter. Personnellement j’ai pris une glace à la lavande, elle était à tomber parterre et selon les commentaires de mes amis en fonction de leur parfum, idem. Nous vous recommandons cet établissement pour ces glaces en tous cas. Service rapide, très charmant et avec le sourire😊

Quentin a rendu notre moment magique, nous étions 17 personnes un peu trop bruyantes et nous avons été accueillis de la meilleure des manières, un grand bonjour de la part des 17 belges et très bon souvenir

Emplacement de rêve au pied du château. Les chambres sont décorées avec goût un mélange d’ancien et de chic. Notre dîner au Clair de la plume…magique Dîner surprise (sans connaître le détail du menu avant le repas), tous les goûts étaient justes et parfaits. Océane a su nous conseiller pour les vins et transmis les coordonnées des viticulteurs. Son professionnalisme fait toute la différence. L'ensemble des collaborateurs méritent amplement leurs places. Laissez vous tenter par une expérience parfois déroutante mais tellement parfaite
Just a few years ago, as lifelong vegetarians we couldn’t get a decent veggie meal out in France. It was a running joke that it would be a goats cheese salad every night of the holiday- if you were lucky! We visited La Clair De Plume’s gastronomic restaurant tonight and it was a breath of fresh air. A set menu of 4 courses of delicious, thoughtfully crafted vegetarian treats which we loved every minute of. We highly recommend this restaurant as a great fine dining option with a beautiful garden seating area to relax in before or after your meal. Friendly staff too :)

The team is amazing. They are super friendly. The rooms are decent and are of the upper standard. For 225€ we found this to be alright. The garden is beautiful and the pool is cooling. Onsite parking is free and there are several electric vehicle chargers on site with a decent ad-hoc payment system for 0.39 cents per kWh. We were welcomed with our dog as there was a dog bowl and bed when we arrived in our room. Very nice! I do not recommend the massage option. It's off-site in the village next door.
Une expérience juste magique... Un menu "surprise" où la découverte de chaque plat s'associe à la justesse des goûts. Quelle délicieuse expérience et que dire de l'accueil et de tout l'accompagnement impeccable de nos hôtes ! Mention spéciale à Océane et à Sandrine pour leur bienveillance et leur sens du service juste parfaits. Accueil et service agréable et cuisine excellente !portion génereuse mais cuisiné avec soin. Mention spéciale pour la pavlova aux fruits exotiques, on l'a mangerai sans faim tellement elle est bonne! Bref nous avons très très bien mangé ! Merci !!!

Super emplacement, le cadre est magnifique. On mange très bien mais on paye le cadre. Le service est efficace et la carte très sympas.
Calme et douceur de vivre. Très bel établissement et un service chaleureux. Et pour finir, un restaurant joliment décoré, un personnel non guindé mais très professionnel et des mets délicieusement exquis.
Excellent séjour à la Ferme Chapouton. L’emplacement est idéal pour se balader à pied dans le centre historique de Grignan. Le dîner au bistronomique était également très bon ; mention particulière pour la qualité de service. Le personnel est agréable.

Sympa , simple et de bon vins de pays
Nôtres avis pour le restaurant bistronomique. Une terrasse exceptionnelle, avec une superbe vue sur le château.... ça commençait bien, avec un temps parfait. Le verre de vin rouge en vieille vigne était très bon, mais c'est surtout le plat de ma femme, et ma côte de veau... Grande, épaisse, juteuse, accompagnée des petites patates mitrailles... Une cuisson parfaite, pour une addition de de 56€ par pers sans se priver. Nous recommandons vivement !

Nous n’avons malheureusement pas séjourné dans cet hôtel, mais avons eu la chance d’y être conviés par des amis qui y logeaient, afin de partager avec eux un petit-déjeuner dans le magnifique jardin de ce lieu absolument extraordinaire et enchanteur. Le cadre est idyllique. La cuisine aménagée en espace buffet, les tables dressées à l’extérieur, la glycine, les arbres majestueux, la verdure omniprésente… Tout est en tout point parfait. Une véritable merveille, que je ne peux que recommander pour une escapade ou une parenthèse de luxe discret et raffiné.
Le cadre est toujours aussi beau mais la cuisine a nettement baissé. Sans compter sur le service qui n’est pas à la hauteur d’un restaurant gastronomique !

J’ai réservé pour 3 personnes en l’occurrence ma femme et un de mes fils qui devait nous offrir ce dîner en juillet 2022. À la réservation, j’ai donc donné mon numéro de carte bleue et j’ai été débité de 250 € sans même avoir commencé à manger ! Quand nous sommes arrivés au restaurant à l’accueil, j’ai donc manifesté mon mécontentement et mon désaccord, j’ai donc exprimé le fait que l’établissement avait mes coordonnées en tant que déjà clients depuis 2018 ( 6 dîners) mais ils ne pouvaient rien faire ! Aucune explication valable ne m’a été fournie… C’est un peu cavalier comme attitude mais il semblerait que les restaurateurs soient victimes de beaucoup d’incivilité sur les réservations, c’est la raison pour laquelle nous y retournerons pour y retourner mais en prenant nos précautions Autrement le reste était parfait, la cuisine très goûteuse, l’accueil en salle, l’installation et la visite systématique du Chef Mr Julien Allano qui donne la consigne d’interroger les clients sur leurs allergies A bientôt donc…

Une expérience vraiment, magnifique autour d’une table, étoilée, juste sublime, un accueil parfait le personnel parfait, une coupe de champagne au petit déjeuner vraiment trop sympa ! Nous avons déjà fait beaucoup de restaurants, étoilés celui-ci reste un très jolie coup de cœur et merci d’accueillir notre petit chien adoré ! Belle continuation et longue vie à bientôt j espère ! Un week-end absolument parfait au Clair de la Plume à Gruissan : charme, calme et raffinement au rendez-vous. Chambre romantique, jardin paisible, et un service aux petits soins. Côté cuisine, c’est un sans-faute : dîner savoureux à la Ferme Chapouton, puis explosion de saveurs au restaurant gastronomique de l’hôtel. Un vrai voyage des sens ! Un lieu idyllique pour se retrouver à deux, savourer l’instant et se créer de beaux souvenirs. On repart le cœur léger et les papilles ravie. Un immense merci à tout le personnel des différents établissements, dont la bienveillance, le professionnalisme et la passion ont largement contribué à rendre ce week-end inoubliable.
