Les Maisons du Clair de la Plume situées en Provence, au pied du château de Grignan, un des plus « Beaux Villages de France », se répartissent en 6 lieux du village historique.
L’historique hôtel restaurant Le Clair de la Plume : sous la verrière, le restaurant gastronomique (1* Michelin) propose une cuisine délicate co-signée Glenn VIEL*** et 9 chambres meublées XIXème se partagent les étages.
Toute proche, la Maison Privée, dont l’escalier monumental conduit aux 6 suites et chambres intemporelles.
Une flânerie s’impose au Jardin Méditerranéen : collection de plantes, baignade naturelle et le lieu secret « Pavillon des amoureux » comprenant 1 chambre.
A quelques pas, l’hôtel **** et le Bistro La Ferme Chapouton abrite 13 chambres contemporaines, une piscine chauffée et des salles pour séminaires, mariages, cousinades… de 10 à 200 personnes.
Enfin, sur la place du village, le Café des Vignerons (bar à vins & cuisine) et le Caveau des Vignerons et Produits du Terroir complètent notre invitation à découvrir une Provence préservée et magique.

Grignan est un charmant et typique village provençal situé dans le département de la Drôme, en Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, au sud-est de la France.
Il compte un magnifique château Renaissance, et est mentionné dans les lettres que Madame de Sévigné écrivit à sa fille qui y résidait, Madame de Grignan, au XVIIème siècle. Le village et les alentours regorgent de trésors à visiter et à déguster en toutes saisons.

The Highlight of Our Trip to Provence
Stunning and historic property with attention to detail and attentive staff. We enjoyed dinner at their bistro which was lovely and a nice walk just outside of town. Breakfast was the highlight of the stay with an incredible spread, even champagne, to be enjoyed in the garden. We booked last minute as we were driving through Provence and the stay was the highlight of our trip.

Dog-friendly, including provisions - bowls, treats, beds etc. Treats for us too - cookies and nougat! Bathroom with a bath, slippers, robe, toiletries etc. Parking available very close to the hotel. Lovely bistro within a short walking distance. Lovely restaurant on site that we took breakfast in - which has to be the best breakfast ever. I would return just for the breakfast. Warm, cosy and smelled nice everywhere! :)

Sumptuous Luxury in a Stunning Historical Setting: Impeccable Service & Quintessential Ambience
The architecture and interior design of this series of buildings comprised by Le Clair de la Plume was exemplary: I had already visited it in Grignan as a tourist (they have a gift shop with their own products) and knew how stunning it is. Service was impeccable, the breakfast was sumptuous including some lovely champagne. There were wonderful touches such as locally produced bespoke foods & toiletries. The south facing views over the village and chatea were equally stunning both during the night & day. Centrally located, unfortunately it wasn't warm enough to try the outdoor pools. One call to reception for a local affiliated restaurant booking.

The hotel and assortment of associated rooms are in the bottom of a charming village which was obviously a 'destination' as it was pretty crowded on 15 August. The welcome was warm and helpful, our beautiful room with excellent facilities was in a separate house just down the street. We were able to park our car close to the hotel and walked to La Ferme, their bistro restaurant for an excellent open air dinner. The service and menu obviously had an eye to Michelin ambitions so it was not cheap but very pleasant. The location was beautiful particularly on a fine summer evening.

The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. Perfectly located in the heart of Grignan, it’s an ideal place to stay when visiting the town.

The hotel was beautiful. We arrived at 16:00, quickly checked in and took a stroll in the town. The night views of the hotel is fantastic. We had a comfortable stay. I had requested for charging for my EV, and it was possible to do it during the night. We were on route to Barcelona and this was a perfect spot for us to relax for the evening and enjoy the town / Grignan Chateau and views from the top. Would definitely recommend the hotel. Next time, we will plan for a few more days!!

J’ai eu le plaisir de déjeuner à la ferme Chapouton en ce mois de juin et c’était sensas. La verrière ouverte sur l’extérieur, une vue magnifique sur le château, un délicieux repas. Malgré la chaleur extérieure on était très bien grâce à une circulation d’air naturelle. Mention spéciale pour Jo notre serveur! Jo a été au top: souriant, disponible, agréable, attentif! Bravo pour cette qualité de service, ça rend le moment encore meilleur!

Liebes Team, schon der Empfang war absolut grandios. Freundliches, zuvorkommendes hilfsbereites Personal. Die Koffer wurden ins Zimmer getragen, da wir doch schon ältere Damen sind. Das Frühstück absolut top all die feinen wunderbaren regionalen Produkte einfach genial. Das Abendessen haben wir im Restaurant eingenommen. Es war eine sehr schöne Ambiente, Speisen schön zubereitet und angerichtet. Wunderbarer Bordeaux Wein wurde uns auch in die Karaffe dekantiert.Top Service Personal 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Wir kommen gerne im September wieder und werden das Hotel all unseren Freunden gerne weiterempfehlen. Nous avons dégusté 2 pâtisseries exceptionnelles. En plus d'être magnifiques, elles sont excellentes ! Quel plaisir de déguster encore des pâtisseries d'une si belle qualité pour si peu cher. On est à des années lumières des pâtisseries congelées de la majorité des "boulangeries". Une très bonne adresse, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.
Personnel extrêmement compétent et à l'écoute du client. Cuisine délicieuse et recherchée. Le cadre est magnifique.
Hôtel : chambre de bon confort. Attentions très agréables (eau, nougats..etc). Accueil chaleureux et sympathique. Restaurant: l’agneau de 12 heures est vraiment excellent, servi avec un aligot qui n’en est pas un (une purée enrichie avec un peu de tome). Le chou pistache griotte est réussi : croquant, frais, peu sucré. Malheureusement le service affable est peu efficace: le pain malgré nos demandes est servi en fin de repas, les descriptions des plats sont imprécises. Pas très grave, mais cela dénote dans un établissement de cette qualité.

Ayant séjourné à l’hôtel Le clair de la plume, j’ai été très content de découvrir leur boutique avec un large choix de produits typique de la région. La vendeuse est incroyablement gentille, voyageuse et amoureuse de sa région, n’hésitez pas à lui poser des questions pour une meilleure expérience de Grignan et de ses alentours. Je tenais à remercier énormément la vendeuse pour son professionnalisme et sa motivation dans sa boutique. Chapeau !

Découverte de cet établissement pour le déjeuner. Il y a deux salles , dont l’une abrite une verrière avec vue sur la cour. Ce fut un déjeuner en plusieurs étapes, à la fin du repas on nous remet un carnet avec le détail du déjeuner. On démarre le déjeuner avec un jus detox, vient ensuite une mise en bouche au maquereau, et le déjeuner commence. Le service est parfait Ce fut un délicieux moment.
Ayant fêter mes 70 ans au restaurant de la ferme très bon repas excellent personnel très gentil est serviable une ambiance très feutré restaurant très propre un régal pour les papilles j y retournerais avec grand plaisir merci a toute l equipe
In a very touristy town, this a place you don't want to stop at, if you can. Although very central and away from traffic, parking is impossible, the portions tiny, the staff incompetent and the prices steep. To be honest, there are much nicer places with nicer central squares like Uzès, so you can avoid this one.

Un déjeuner très agréable en terrasse au café des vignerons. Nous nous sommes régalés des tapas faites maison accompagnées d’un bon verre de vin conseillé par la serveuse. Une halte recommandée lors de la visite du joli village de Grignan.

Excellent... Arrivés en plein rush (sans réservation) à 5 avec 2 chiens, nous avons été accueillis avec gentillesse et sourire. Le personnel a déplacé des tables pour nous accueillir. Quant à la cuisine: une carte restreinte de qualité, salade ultra fraîche... Service souriant 100% orienté satisfaction client malgré l'affluence et facture tout à fait digeste (environ 30€/pers avec boissons non alcoolisées, entrée -plat-dessert). Bref une super expérience !! Je recommande
Merveilleux séjour avec une équipe des plus avenante et un service hors pair. Le lieu est magnifique et en plein centre village. Le petit jardin côté sud, alors que nous sommes installés derrière la verrière pour le petit déjeuner, nous permet de profiter du soleil alors que le mistral sévi. La chambre était très agréable avec une décoration des plus "authentiquement provençale", la literie des plus confortable et la salle de bain caché derrière une porte de placard de l'époque, avec ses vrais parefeuilles, un plaisir. Il ne manque rien. Les produits de la marque Nuxe dans la salle de bain c'est super, ce sont les produits que j'utilise à la maison. Le petit déjeuner est des plus complet et convient aussi pour différents régimes. J'ai goûté les biscuits sans gluten et les biscuits végan et ils étaient succulents.

Un merveilleux dîner d'anniversaire avec des étoiles plein les yeux. Ici tout n'est que finesse et délicatesse. J'y ai tout aimé : le lieu, les mets délicieux, le service plus que parfait. Vivement mes 56 ans :-)

Cet avis est pour le bistro de la ferme Chapouton. Excellent de l'accueil au service. Cadre superbe. Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement. Une équipe jeune, souriante et très aimable. L'équipe en cuisine excelle, mets divins, des saveurs. Plats savoureux et raffinés sans en faire trop, c'est tout ce qu'on aime. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Super moment à 2.

Une très belle découverte à Grignan ! Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis dans ce caveau où la dégustation s’est faite dans une atmosphère détendue et conviviale. La gérante du magasin connaît parfaitement les vins du terroir et nous a fait découvrir avec enthousiasme plusieurs crus de la région, chacun avec sa petite histoire. Un arrêt incontournable pour qui aime le vin et l’authenticité.
Nous nous sommes régalés. Mais en plus le personnel est adorable. Nous sommes allés avec 2 enfants de 1 an et 6 ans et un bébé. Des jeux sont mis à disposition ce qui nous a permis de passer un moment super agréable. Nous recommandons fortement
Just a few years ago, as lifelong vegetarians we couldn’t get a decent veggie meal out in France. It was a running joke that it would be a goats cheese salad every night of the holiday- if you were lucky! We visited La Clair De Plume’s gastronomic restaurant tonight and it was a breath of fresh air. A set menu of 4 courses of delicious, thoughtfully crafted vegetarian treats which we loved every minute of. We highly recommend this restaurant as a great fine dining option with a beautiful garden seating area to relax in before or after your meal. Friendly staff too :)
Hotel avec peu de chambres donc très intime. Parfait pour un weekend de repos dans ce magnifique village de Grignan. Accès au 2 piscines très proches très agréable. Petit déjeuner fantastique.

25/08/25: Magnifique cadre, vue incroyable sur le château de Grignan. Le service est impeccable, les plats sont succulents ! Équipe jeune en cuisine et en salle avec un professionnalisme remarquable. Bravo à eux ! Le cocktail maison est très bon et vous avez des nougats avec l’addition. Nous avons adoré le moment passé dans ce lieux et nous nous sommes régalés. (Restaurant only): fantastic dinner experience. The Chef and his team wow'd us all night long. It all starts out in the cute little garden outside for a very warm welcome. After an aperitive one is guided inside into the main restaurant. The setting is stellar! The food convinced us beyond just one michelin star. There was plenty of finesse and surprises throughout the evening. The service team spoke good English and explained the dishes quite well. We'd come back any time. 6 course dinner for two people and one wine pairing got us to 500€. The chef is certainly ambitious and it shows successfully.
Une expérience vraiment, magnifique autour d’une table, étoilée, juste sublime, un accueil parfait le personnel parfait, une coupe de champagne au petit déjeuner vraiment trop sympa ! Nous avons déjà fait beaucoup de restaurants, étoilés celui-ci reste un très jolie coup de cœur et merci d’accueillir notre petit chien adoré ! Belle continuation et longue vie à bientôt j espère !
