Les Maisons du Clair de la Plume situées en Provence, au pied du château de Grignan, un des plus « Beaux Villages de France », se répartissent en 6 lieux du village historique.
L’historique hôtel restaurant Le Clair de la Plume : sous la verrière, le restaurant gastronomique (1* Michelin) propose une cuisine délicate co-signée Glenn VIEL*** et 9 chambres meublées XIXème se partagent les étages.
Toute proche, la Maison Privée, dont l’escalier monumental conduit aux 6 suites et chambres intemporelles.
Une flânerie s’impose au Jardin Méditerranéen : collection de plantes, baignade naturelle et le lieu secret « Pavillon des amoureux » comprenant 1 chambre.
A quelques pas, l’hôtel **** et le Bistro La Ferme Chapouton abrite 13 chambres contemporaines, une piscine chauffée et des salles pour séminaires, mariages, cousinades… de 10 à 200 personnes.
Enfin, sur la place du village, le Café des Vignerons (bar à vins & cuisine) et le Caveau des Vignerons et Produits du Terroir complètent notre invitation à découvrir une Provence préservée et magique.

Grignan, plus beau village de France en Drôme Provençale
Grignan est un charmant et typique village provençal situé dans le département de la Drôme, en Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, au sud-est de la France.
Il compte un magnifique château Renaissance, et est mentionné dans les lettres que Madame de Sévigné écrivit à sa fille qui y résidait, Madame de Grignan, au XVIIème siècle. Le village et les alentours regorgent de trésors à visiter et à déguster en toutes saisons.

Beautiful stay
The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. Perfectly located in the heart of Grignan, it’s an ideal place to stay when visiting the town.

The hotel is completing charming, with a lovely pool. The attached restaurant is outstanding. Wonderful buffet breakfast in the garden each morning. Comfortable beds and good A/C. My room was a little small but perfectly comfortable and I was not in the room except to sleep. Definitely recommend and will stay here again myself.

I had requested for charging for my EV, and it was possible to do it during the night. We were on route to Barcelona and this was a perfect spot for us to relax for the evening and enjoy the town / Grignan Chateau and views from the top. Would definitely recommend the hotel. Next time, we will plan for a few more days!!

The whole stay was charming
The hotel and assortment of associated rooms are in the bottom of a charming village which was obviously a 'destination' as it was pretty crowded on 15 August. The welcome was warm and helpful, our beautiful room with excellent facilities was in a separate house just down the street. We were able to park our car close to the hotel and walked to La Ferme, their bistro restaurant for an excellent open air dinner. The service and menu obviously had an eye to Michelin ambitions so it was not cheap but very pleasant. The location was beautiful particularly on a fine summer evening.

La chambre était grande et très confortable, le personnel prépare même la chambre pour la nuit, ce qui correspond à de très hauts standards hôteliers.

We liked very much the property with the gardens, the view on the Château from our room was exceptional. The breakfast is expensive but the products are high quality and most of them homemade. The staff is very friendly and customer oriented.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming place. The suite was beautiful, tastefully decorated, and the bedding was extremely comfortable. It feels like stepping back in time, yet with all the modern comforts. The staff were lovely and attentive from start to finish. As for breakfast, it was fabulous, especially the delicious homemade rice pudding. We highly recommend this magical place.

Plats excellents, merci au chef Service parfait Un grand merci à Sandrine pour ses propositions de vins et sa faculté d adaptation à nos goûts (Givry au top 😀) Restaurant 1 étoile qui en mérite une deuxième Nuit à la ferme un peu plus bas. Petit déjeuner dans une petite pièce atypique avec beaucoup de charme. Sejour parfait, ça donne des idées de cadeaux

La personne à l'accueil est d'un grande gentillesse, elle a pu fournir les informations nécessaires afin de retrouver un vin consommé chez le restaurant juste à côté. Le vin était local et surtout excellentissime, d'où l'achat en boutique. Un grand merci et une bonne continuation.

Liebes Team, schon der Empfang war absolut grandios. Freundliches, zuvorkommendes hilfsbereites Personal. Die Koffer wurden ins Zimmer getragen, da wir doch schon ältere Damen sind. Das Frühstück absolut top all die feinen wunderbaren regionalen Produkte einfach genial. Das Abendessen haben wir im Restaurant eingenommen. Es war eine sehr schöne Ambiente, Speisen schön zubereitet und angerichtet. Wunderbarer Bordeaux Wein wurde uns auch in die Karaffe dekantiert.Top Service Personal 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Wir kommen gerne im September wieder und werden das Hotel all unseren Freunden gerne weiterempfehlen. Il est très agréable de s'y arrêter pour une pause gourmande (excellentes glaces artisanales) et désaltérante...ou de venir se restaurer midi ou soir (menus ou plats de moments excellents) en profitant autant d'un régal des yeux que du palais 😉😊 ...
Nous avons dîné au restaurant : très fin, original de l’entrée au dessert ; très bon accueil et service rapide avant d’aller à un spectacle.
Nous avons dégusté deux pâtisseries au chocolat excellentes ! Accueil très sympathique et chaleureux. Très bon rapport goût / qualité / prix. Belle sélection de produits locaux en complément. Ne changez rien !

Le service est attentionné et à l'écoute des clients, la nourriture est variée et très bonne. Les horaires pour se restaurer sont plutôt flexibles contrairement à beaucoup d'autres établissements sur Grignan. Vous pouvez y aller sans problème ! 👍

Nôtres avis pour le restaurant bistronomique. Une terrasse exceptionnelle, avec une superbe vue sur le château.... ça commençait bien, avec un temps parfait. Le verre de vin rouge en vieille vigne était très bon, mais c'est surtout le plat de ma femme, et ma côte de veau... Grande, épaisse, juteuse, accompagnée des petites patates mitrailles... Une cuisson parfaite, pour une addition de de 56€ par pers sans se priver. Nous recommandons vivement !

Quentin a rendu notre moment magique, nous étions 17 personnes un peu trop bruyantes et nous avons été accueillis de la meilleure des manières, un grand bonjour de la part des 17 belges et très bon souvenir

Une parenthèse enchantée au Clair de la Plume. Un dîner en 8 escales accompagné de superbes vins. Merci aux équipes pour leur accueil chaleureux et aux chefs virtuoses pour ce menu incroyable qui reste une très beau souvenir (aussi adapté à notre goût). Un regal absolu a chaque service, des mets travailles avec une grande finesse. La chambre était également sublime, calme. Une soirée inoubliable et une superbe découverte. Merci a toutes les équipes pour ce moment.

Restaurant sympathique avec une terrasse agréable. Nous avons bien mangé, c'était plutôt simple mais bien exécuté. Les serveurs sont très sympathiques. J'enlève une étoile car j'ai trouvé les prix un peu élevé.

This hotel in the charming village of Grignan is actually my favourite hotel in the world. I've been coming here for years, and each time the experience gets better and better. The original hotel with it's elegant rooms and beautiful gardens make you feel transported to another world, and the new addition and renovation of the old farmhouse Chapouton which is only a few minutes walk is another creation extraordinaire! The two restaurants - the Bistro (SO great!) and the Michelin star restaurant (Which is beyond AMAZING and should definitely be on your bucket list!!) is only surpassed by the hotel staff. They are so kind and professional and always there to make sure your experience is one to remember. So many hotels strive for excellence, but this one truly delivers, and I look forward to next year's visit!! A very happy customer, Barbara (United Kingdom)
Repas de la fête des mères, anniversaire de mariage et de mon mari… le lieu rêvé pour ce tête-à-tête au restaurant étoilé du Clair de la Plume. Depuis cette sombre année où la terre s’est arrêtée, plus rien ne semblait avoir de saveur! Le miel de mon voisin sur du pain au levain, les fraises de mon jardin… tout était fade sauf peut-être le comté du Bélieu, notre village d’origine! Au clair de la plume, j’ai enfin retrouvé le goût… Que ce soient les asperges, la croûte de la truite, la rhubarbe en 3 façons… la mini tarte à la fraise!!!! Quelles merveilles! Merci au chef (que nous aurions aimé féliciter personnellement) Un remerciement tout particulier au personnel entièrement féminin qui a été aux petits soins, avec humour et légèreté.
Découverte du restaurant un samedi soir de février. Dîner dans la verrière juste somptueuse. Nous avons pris le menu en 6 temps … le bon compromis et l’accord mets et vin en 4 temps. Tout fut parfait du début à la fin. Il est vrai que nous étions invité, donc encore plus agréable mais les prix ne sont pas donnés. Je tiens juste à souligner la grande gentillesse et le grand professionnalisme de l’ensemble de l’équipe qui rend le moment très agréable. Le chef est venu nous voir à la fin du repas, un homme simple et extrêmement agréable. Merci pour cette parenthèse

We had an absolutely beautiful time here. The location is idyllic, and we loved how the hotel complex was split across multiple buildings in town, all within a short few minutes walk of each other. The rooms were very well kept and comfortable, the food was so good we kept coming back for more, and the staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and accommodating to all our needs. We came with a dog and they provided us with a dog bed and bowl (and a little treat, too!) which we'd not encountered before. We enjoyed our first night so much we extended our stay - it made our next day a much longer journey but was totally worth it. We were sad to leave! Thank you team CDLP. Leo, Ysabel and Gigi

Bonjour, l'hôtel est parfaitement situé dans la Drôme Provençale à 300m de ce charmant village qu'est Grignan,le personnel est extrêmement aimable, mention top à la personne du petit déjeuner, qui est copieux avec des produits de qualité,la literie est extrêmement confortable et l'hôtel est très calme j'y ai passé un très agréable séjour 👌.
