Les Maisons du Clair de la Plume situées en Provence, au pied du château de Grignan, un des plus « Beaux Villages de France », se répartissent en 6 lieux du village historique.
L’historique hôtel restaurant Le Clair de la Plume : sous la verrière, le restaurant gastronomique (1* Michelin) propose une cuisine délicate co-signée Glenn VIEL*** et 9 chambres meublées XIXème se partagent les étages.
Toute proche, la Maison Privée, dont l’escalier monumental conduit aux 6 suites et chambres intemporelles.
Une flânerie s’impose au Jardin Méditerranéen : collection de plantes, baignade naturelle et le lieu secret « Pavillon des amoureux » comprenant 1 chambre.
A quelques pas, l’hôtel **** et le Bistro La Ferme Chapouton abrite 13 chambres contemporaines, une piscine chauffée et des salles pour séminaires, mariages, cousinades… de 10 à 200 personnes.
Enfin, sur la place du village, le Café des Vignerons (bar à vins & cuisine) et le Caveau des Vignerons et Produits du Terroir complètent notre invitation à découvrir une Provence préservée et magique.

Grignan, plus beau village de France en Drôme Provençale
Grignan est un charmant et typique village provençal situé dans le département de la Drôme, en Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, au sud-est de la France.
Il compte un magnifique château Renaissance, et est mentionné dans les lettres que Madame de Sévigné écrivit à sa fille qui y résidait, Madame de Grignan, au XVIIème siècle. Le village et les alentours regorgent de trésors à visiter et à déguster en toutes saisons.

Beautiful location set in a very quaint 'magical' village. Friendly staff. Beautiful building and court yard. Dog-friendly, including provisions - bowls, treats, beds etc. Treats for us too - cookies and nougat! Bathroom with a bath, slippers, robe, toiletries etc. Parking available very close to the hotel. Lovely bistro within a short walking distance. Lovely restaurant on site that we took breakfast in - which has to be the best breakfast ever. I would return just for the breakfast. Warm, cosy and smelled nice everywhere! :)

We liked very much the property with the gardens, the view on the Château from our room was exceptional. The breakfast is expensive but the products are high quality and most of them homemade. The staff is very friendly and customer oriented.

Breakfast was the highlight of the stay with an incredible spread, even champagne, to be enjoyed in the garden. We booked last minute as we were driving through Provence and the stay was the highlight of our trip.

The hotel was beautiful. We arrived at 16:00, quickly checked in and took a stroll in the town. The night views of the hotel is fantastic. We had a comfortable stay. I had requested for charging for my EV, and it was possible to do it during the night. We were on route to Barcelona and this was a perfect spot for us to relax for the evening and enjoy the town / Grignan Chateau and views from the top. Would definitely recommend the hotel. Next time, we will plan for a few more days!!

Quintessential Provence perfect stay
The most beautiful setting. Stunning garden. Very clean comfortable room with lovely toiletries. The dinner was absolutely delicious. The pools were so peaceful and idyllic.

The hotel is completing charming, with a lovely pool. The attached restaurant is outstanding. Wonderful buffet breakfast in the garden each morning. Comfortable beds and good A/C. My room was a little small but perfectly comfortable and I was not in the room except to sleep. Definitely recommend and will stay here again myself.

J’ai eu le plaisir de déjeuner à la ferme Chapouton en ce mois de juin et c’était sensas. La verrière ouverte sur l’extérieur, une vue magnifique sur le château, un délicieux repas. Malgré la chaleur extérieure on était très bien grâce à une circulation d’air naturelle. Mention spéciale pour Jo notre serveur! Jo a été au top: souriant, disponible, agréable, attentif! Bravo pour cette qualité de service, ça rend le moment encore meilleur!
This hotel in the charming village of Grignan is actually my favourite hotel in the world. I've been coming here for years, and each time the experience gets better and better. The original hotel with it's elegant rooms and beautiful gardens make you feel transported to another world, and the new addition and renovation of the old farmhouse Chapouton which is only a few minutes walk is another creation extraordinaire! The two restaurants - the Bistro (SO great!) and the Michelin star restaurant (Which is beyond AMAZING and should definitely be on your bucket list!!) is only surpassed by the hotel staff. They are so kind and professional and always there to make sure your experience is one to remember. So many hotels strive for excellence, but this one truly delivers, and I look forward to next year's visit!! A very happy customer, Barbara (United Kingdom)
Une expérience vraiment, magnifique autour d’une table, étoilée, juste sublime, un accueil parfait le personnel parfait, une coupe de champagne au petit déjeuner vraiment trop sympa ! Nous avons déjà fait beaucoup de restaurants, étoilés celui-ci reste un très jolie coup de cœur et merci d’accueillir notre petit chien adoré ! Belle continuation et longue vie à bientôt j espère ! Zowel het hotel als ook het gastronomisch restaurant én de bistro, waar wij bij beide gegeten hebben, zijn van zeer grote klasse.
Nôtres avis pour le restaurant bistronomique. Une terrasse exceptionnelle, avec une superbe vue sur le château.... ça commençait bien, avec un temps parfait. Le verre de vin rouge en vieille vigne était très bon, mais c'est surtout le plat de ma femme, et ma côte de veau... Grande, épaisse, juteuse, accompagnée des petites patates mitrailles... Une cuisson parfaite, pour une addition de de 56€ par pers sans se priver. Nous recommandons vivement !
J’ai rarement vu un hôtel avec un charme aussi époustouflant que Le clair de la plume. L’accueil a été formidable et la chambre avait un charisme et une histoire qui se ressentait rien qu’à l’ouverture de la porte. L’emplacement est parfait avec le petit marché où je ne suis pas sûre que ce soit tous les jours, mais qui en vaut le détour. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux, situé dans une véranda plein soleil le matin et un choix très varié avec des produits de très bonne qualité. Le cadre est vraiment exceptionnel! Je n’y manquerai pas de revenir si je repasse par là. Bravo l’équipe et merci pour cette découverte.

Une équipe conviviale, une cuisine à petit prix pour de la qualité, et des sourires qui en ferait tomber plus d’un Ps: Quentin, ton équipe de liégeois préféré sont bien rentrés à bon port Merci pour ce moment, ça restera pour beaucoup du groupe l’un de nos plus beaux souvenirs dans un restaurant

Excellent... Arrivés en plein rush (sans réservation) à 5 avec 2 chiens, nous avons été accueillis avec gentillesse et sourire. Le personnel a déplacé des tables pour nous accueillir. Quant à la cuisine: une carte restreinte de qualité, salade ultra fraîche... Service souriant 100% orienté satisfaction client malgré l'affluence et facture tout à fait digeste (environ 30€/pers avec boissons non alcoolisées, entrée -plat-dessert). Bref une super expérience !! Je recommande

Le cadre , le personnel , tout était parfait pour rendre notre anniversaire de mariage inoubliable. La chambre était tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Le menu du chef fut une histoire merveilleusement bien écrite, magnifiquement racontée par le personnel en salle au petit soin , bravo ! A peine arrivée sur le parking je suis ravie par le cadre de cette bâtisse rénovée avec goût et de son jardin, prête pour une expérience gustative qui s'avérera des plus plaisantes. La recherche des goûts, des matières premières de qualité, de la présentation est présente dans chacun des plats dégustés. Le service est à la hauteur de la cuisine. Une adresse à conserver et à conseiller.
Avec un groupe de 38 personnes, nous avons été ravis du lieu, de l'organisation et l'ensemble du personnel a été parfait.
Une expérience culinaire exceptionnelle, un grand merci à toute l équipe en salle et une mention particulière à la jeune sommelière pour son professionnalisme. Merci pour cette soirée qui restera graver dans notre mémoire.

Très bel établissement acceuil chaleureux service très professionnel et sympathique quand à la cuisine un vrai bonheur les présentations sont soignées les cuissons parfaites, Le risotto petit épeautre et truffes ( généreuses)un régal, quand au poisson fraîcheur et cuisson au top.Pour terminer entremet poire spéculum, chou Chapouton aux truffes râpées une merveille il fallait oser l'expérience est une réussite gustative.Bravo à cette excellente maison. Expérience ... inoubliable ! Établissement qui valorise la cuisine et de l'hospitalité à la française ! L'exposition médiatique ne cache pas d'imposture... Le talent est bien là . Personnel jeune, dynamique, à l'écoute et extrêmement compétent. Le restaurant étoilé offre un menu surprise moderne mais respectueux des produits ... dessert chocolat fumé : bouriffant ! Un petit déjeuner exceptionnel dans une cuisine façon "à l'ancienne" servi avec sourire et bienveillance dans une verrière à la Eiffel.

Une parenthèse enchantée au Clair de la Plume. Un dîner en 8 escales accompagné de superbes vins. Merci aux équipes pour leur accueil chaleureux et aux chefs virtuoses pour ce menu incroyable qui reste une très beau souvenir (aussi adapté à notre goût). Un regal absolu a chaque service, des mets travailles avec une grande finesse. La chambre était également sublime, calme. Une soirée inoubliable et une superbe découverte. Merci a toutes les équipes pour ce moment.
