Hotel du charme Grignan
Historical Clair de Plume

The house was constructed in the 17th century on the order of the Count of Grignan, for the housing of monks, as the Count believed the village required moral guidance.

As time passed, the house served other purposes. She was more recently a truffle house. It was Madame Sourdive, one time girlfriend of Picasso, who inherited the house. Madame de Bournet was the following proprietor. Later, Lord Southam, the Canadian ambassador and his wife used the house as their country residence.

Lately the house was converted into a hotel, maintaining and enhancing all the charm of her past.

Welcome to the Clair de la Plume .
